8 dead bodies recovered from Sui
QUETTA, March 26 (Online): Eight dead bodies were recovered from the area of Sui, Nasirabad division (Balochistan) on Saturday. The dead bodies could not yet be identified.
According to a private TV channel, Levies forces gave the news about the recovery of eight dead bodies from Sui. Dead bodies were shifted to the hospital, as they could not be recognized.
Police has given the photographs of ill-fated dead in the newspaper for identification purposes.

Rowdyism by opposition in Punjab Assembly against norms of democracy: Khosa
LAHORE, March 26 (Online): Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that rowdyism by opposition in Punjab Assembly is lamentable and against the norms of democracy.
According to handout issued here on Saturday, he said that Pakistan Peoples Party and Q League should play a positive role as opposition and refrain from negative and undemocratic tactics in the Assembly.
Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that Punjab Assembly is the custodian of superior democratic values and traditions which Pakistan Muslim League (N) will not allow any one to violate.
He said that PPP did its best to follow Lotacracy during Governor's rule but after failing in its efforts again joined the government.
He said that undemocratic attitude of PPP during Governor's rule was totally against democratic principles and by their unruly behavior in the Punjab Assembly, PPP and Q-League have proved that they do not have a democratic temperament.
He said that difference of opinion in the essence of democracy and the role of opposition is very important. He said that democracy survives only if opposition points out the shortcomings of the government and exercise the right of positive criticism is a democratic manner.
He said that rowdyism in Punjab Assembly is a proof of the fact that PPP and Q League are bereft of political and democratic values and it has learnt no lesson from the illegal and unconstitutional step of Governor's rule.

Ulema, mashaikh should play vital role in setting up of a society based on religious harmony: Syed Ehsan-ud-din
LAHORE, March 26 (Online): Minister Auqaf Punjab, Syed Ehsan-ud-din Qureshi has said that Ulema and mashaikh should play an active role in the setting up of a society based on religious harmony, tolerance and social equality.
According to handout issued here on Saturday, he asked the ulema and mashaikh to spread the teachings of Sufi Saints among the masses to create charitable & tolerant society.
He said that Islam teaches the lesson of peace, harmony and equality among the masses and by following in the footsteps of Sufi saints we should create an atmosphere of amity and tranquility.
While talking to media persons at the inauguration of Urs Madhu Lal Hussain / Mela Chiraghan, Ehsan-ud-din Qureshi said that Ulema have great respect through out the world and we have to promote the concept of love, brotherhood and mutual tolerance for the establishment of peace in the world and the Sufi saints spread the same message.
He said the present government is paying special attention on the protection and renovation of Mazaars of Sufi Saints. He said the auqaf department with the collaboration of security agencies has made special arrangements of security during Mela Chiraghan. The Minister also inaugurated the extension of mosque and Mazaar at the Mazaar of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain. Secretary Auqaf, DG Auqaf and other officials of the departments were also present of the occasion.
