Fire Rescuers to work for Prevention and Community Safety.
The Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 has imparted training of fire prevention, investigation, community safety to its fire rescuers to enable them to initiate fire prevention and safety training program and related activities in their districts.
The 3 weeks long training was conducted here at emergency services academy Lahore. As many as 580 fire rescuers successfully completed this training which included fire safety codes, community training skill, emergency evacuation procedure and basic life saving skills.
While addressing to rescuers, Dr Rizwan Naseer, director general said that prevention of emergencies imparted to save precious life and properties.
He congratulated rescuers on wining Azam e Aalishan Award for Rescue 1122 and tamgha e shajat for its rescuers, who lost their lives in Ghakhar Plaza fire of Rawapindi. He emphasized rescuers to work for prevention of fire and safety so that safer community could be developed in Pakistan. He said the fire and emergency services in developing countries are now working for prevention of emergencies and safety awareness amongst community, which can also be achieved in Pakistan through commitment and devotion of rescuers.
